I have just completed the Claris Academy lesson plans and I have obtained – after the final exam – the Claris FileMaker Pro App Developer certification at the highest level: Expert.

The Claris Academy training bundles are divided into three progressive levels: Associate (marked by a star), Specialist (two stars) and finally Expert, the highest level (three stars). The training is in English only, so you need to know the FileMaker terminology in English to pass the exams: translations into other languages (i.e. into Italian) are not always intuitively similar.

As the conflict continues, its human costs are becoming more and more severe: it is causing an increasing number of civilian casualties, destroying livelihoods and damaging critical civilian infrastructure, including hundreds of homes, water and sanitation infrastructure, schools and health facilities. In order to intervene as soon as possible with first emergency actions for the Ukrainians fleeing a country at war, AVSI has launched the campaign #HelpUkraine.

Andrea Morois a Neurolinguist, writer and Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Applied Sciences, Pavia, Italy. The title of the lecture was “THE POSSIBILITY TO SAY ‘I’. THE MYSTERY OF LANGUAGE”: other 1000 people were listening in the audience around me at theMeeting Rimini, a Festival that is held yearly in late August in Rimini, Italy. The registration of the lecture got over 12.000 views on Youtube (in the original Italian version). I use to attend this Festival every year to help myself broaden the horizons and that speech was one of the greatest hints I got in 2021.

What I learned, among other things, by prof. Andrea Moro?Language is born not to communicate but to let us think. To give me the possibility to say “I”.

There are 3 types of reports: one based on the application deadline, one based on workflows and one with statistical data.

Let’s look at the statistical report first: we have all the leads for this destination broken down by profiling.

For each category, by clicking on the button with the shopping cart we can explore which leads are profiled in this way and possibly change the profiling if there has been a change in status.

With this button we enter the details of the congress, consult the details or track the data of a local contact.

Let’s go back to the main page and look at report number two, the process-based report.
We then get a report with leads categorized according to the 13 profiling levels.

Instead, the third report is based on the application deadline.

All leads are sorted by year and month based on the the application deadline.

This report allows you to schedule your time in your application search.

If, for example, you think it’s time to work on short-term deadlines, you can select the one with the most promising situation from the various leads and make good use of your time.

Thus, the three types of reports address 3 different needs.

The report based on the application deadline serves to plan the time of those who physically do this type of exciting research.

The second report is used to report the activity to a supervisor and the statistical report is used to monitor the progress of the international applications research work.

Thank you for having me. Some schools in the north openedin the first week of March as at the end of February the 16th and last COVID19 case was discharged and the country was preparing to go back to normality. Unfortunately, that lasted only a few days;on the 6th of March,after a few Vietnamese traveled back from Europe, asecond and larger outbreakstarted in Hanoi spreading the virus in the whole country. As for now, schools are expected tostay close until the end of April, but an extension of the term is very likely.

How is your life currently in Ho Chi Minh City?

Life in Ho Chi Minh Cityduring these times ismuch slowerthan usual. People are very cautious and have been avoiding public places for the last few weeks when the second wave of cases has started. Moreover, the Prime Minister announced alockdown starting from the 1st of April till the 15thfor the whole country where people are urged to leave their homes only to buy food, drugs or to work in the essential sectors which are not suspended.
