ICISE among the 14 most beautiful higher education and research buildings in the world

A possibility of another international architectural award for the ICISE conference center. We recently reported that the Studio Milou, Singapore has received the Public Architecture Award by the Australian Institute of Architects’ 2017 International Chapter Awards for our Centre. Now the architectural firm “Studio Milou Singapore” is pleased to inform that the ICISE conference center is in the 2017 shortlist at the  World Architecture Festival  that will take place in  Berlin, Germany, in November 2017, for the category  Higher Education And Research – Completed Buildings. Architectural award for the ICISE conference center

Nested in the heart of nature, the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education in Quy Nhon (Vietnam) is known as a site of architectural beauty. Its designer, the architectural firm “Studio Milou Singapore”, has recently won the  Public Architecture Award  by the  Australian Institute of Architects’ 2017 International Chapter Awards, for precisely our Centre, the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education of Quy Nhon. Opening of the Science Avenue at the ICISE conference center

“Science Avenue” is now the name of the road leading to the ICISE conference center and the Explora Science Center,  which is being built not very far from the ICISE conference center. On July 27th, 2017, a ceremony for the opening of the “Science Avenue” took place with the presence of many scientists, the ICISE President and staff as well as local authorities. Professor Geraldus’t Hooft, Physics Nobel laureate in 1999, who attended the ceremony,  made a short but interesting speech for this occasion: "It is a great honor for me to join the "Science Avenue" Opening Ceremony today with all of you, great scientists and science supporters. We first travel north, by road from Quy Nhon to Hoi An, a well-preserved coastal city of considerable historical interest; UNESCO has designated it as a World Heritage Site.
